The Scoil Mhuire Senior Website Development Story

Scoil Mhuire Senior is a co-educational Catholic School under the patronage of the Catholic Archbishop of Dublin. We cater for the educational needs of children from 3rd – 6th class. There are three classes in each year with approximately 300 pupils enrolled in our school.

The primary goal of this website was to give the school a platform whereby both adult and student can easily find the activity or content they are looking for. The site also needed to be cross-browser compatible and responsive to any web enabled device with HTML5 video and image protection techniques. This site has been built with these key goals paramount to the functionality and experience on this site.

Key to the development of the site was the image gallery, calendar and then ability for any teacher to be able to manage the content of their class details easily through the CMS.

The website has been designed in HTM5 and CSS3 and is a completely responsive design that can render in any web enabled device.

The website has also been linked to the Aladdin ePayment system so parents can easily pay for any fees online.

The Scoil Mhuire Senior website was launched in May 2016
