The Hoistech Website Development Story

Hoistech Ltd. Manufacturers of Bespoke Lifting Equipment. For over 40 years Hoistech have been designing, manufacturing and installing custom-made solutions for material handling issues. From overhead cranes & electric hoists to handmade stainless-steel Load Trolleys and everything in between.

This website was created to provide Hoistech with a brand-new web presence and the ability to easily manage the website and integrate with social media platforms.

A particular feature of this website build was the integration of the site into the pre-existing Chain and Rope CMS. When this was easily completed it then allowed the CMS administrators the ability to manage both sites from a single content source.

In 2018 a new responsive design was added to the Hoistech website to compliment the Chain and rope Website design. This was to keep the group theme of colours and continuity similar on both sets yet offsetting the difference of the two corporate brands.

2020 brought a new change and design to the Hoistech website. Built to mobile-first technology, the new features on the website include major upgrades of functionality.

In 2022 a brand-new eCommerce platform was introduced with a new design to go with this platform. Hoistech re-branded from Chain and Rope Suppliers and launhced their new site, integrating with Global Payments as their chosen payment partner. The eCommerce platform also integrates with their ERP so products are automatically added to the website. This product description updates, stock availability and pricing updated automatically on the website.

With advanced integration into Google Analytics, the website is a very scalable eCommerce platform and intensive SEO work on the shop site.
